Sandtimers by Doug Crane

Doug Crane first learned to do aluminum sand casting in 8th grade. In college he tried bronze casting & jewelry casting & fabrication. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Art, from Montclair College in New Jersey, in Photography & Metalworking.

In 1996 he decided to focus on metalworking full time, creating unique hourglasses, with cast pewter spindles, that he calls Sandtimers.

He makes his home in Ohio.
