Chimes and small mobiles, all powered by the sun. The solar panel can be aimed towards the light source for more movement, or away for less. At night the chimes fall silent, unless under a lamp. The clapper can be easily removed to completely silence the chimes, if desired.
The chimes are assembled in workshops and studios in Michigan with as many US made componants as possible (the solar mechanism itself is imported).
I really like these as a combination of art and science, two disciplines that are a lot closer linked than most people are aware of.
